How do I schedule a piano lesson?

Once you’ve completed the registration form and received an invoice, you’ll be sent a link to book your lessons using Calendly.

Where are lessons held?

Lessons scheduled during the day can be held at the Pianosaurus Rex studio in North New Brighton, or at your place.

For evening lessons I’ll travel to you.

Does it cost extra to have lessons at my place?

If you’re located within 5kms of North New Brighton there is no extra charge. If you’re outside this zone then a $5 to $10 travel fee per lesson may apply.

Can I still have weekly lessons?

Yes you can!

It’s possible to schedule the same time each week (or month) when you complete your initial booking. Alternatively, you can just make a single booking as needed.

You could even schedule multiple lessons in one week if you’re extra keen!

Do lessons need to be held within a certain time?

Lessons need to be scheduled within six months of the original booking.

What happens if I can't attend a lesson after I've booked?

Lessons can be cancelled or rescheduled up to 24 hours before a booking.

If your situation has changed and you can no longer take piano lessons, transferring remaining lessons to another person is a possibility.

Do I need to own a piano?

Preferably, but there are options.

An acoustic or digital piano at your home is ideal, but if you have access to one located elsewhere that can also work.

A keyboard is just fine for beginners, or anyone who’s learning for fun. Another option is to hire an acoustic or digital piano from a local music shop.
