Become a Musical Superhero

Description

Your students will develop their musical superpowers and improve their practice habits as they complete this musical superhero practice challenge.

What does this practice challenge involve?

Included in this programme are:

• Audio Introduction
• Practice Record (with 10 different versions)
• Challenge Cards

The practice challenge begins with a fun Audio Introduction. Each participant then receives a Practice Record to track their progress, and as they meet their goals throughout the month they complete Challenge Cards to develop their musical superpowers.

How long does the practice challenge last?

About four weeks. The Practice Record has 30 squares to fill in, which corresponds to a month of practice. Some students may be faster or slower depending on their practice goal.

What daily goal are students working towards?

You decide the practice goals your students are trying to achieve. This could involve minutes practiced, practice tasks completed, or building the habit of daily practice.

Who will this practice challenge appeal to?

This practice challenge can be adapted for preschool students through to teens. The different versions of the Practice Records mean there is one to suit nearly every student, and the practice goals and Challenge Cards can be customised for different age groups.
