Practice Plunder Game

Description

Ahoy, me hearties! If you’re wanting your students’ practice time to have clear goals and effective tasks, then send them on an adventure across the seven seas. With every roll of the dice players draw a card and complete the practice task shown, working their way towards the treasure chest.

By the end of the game players will gain the real treasure: an effective and enjoyable practice session 😉

How many players?

This game is designed for one to two players, and can be easily adapted for more.

How long does the game take?

With options for a shorter or longer game, it will take anywhere between 10 and 20 minutes to complete.

Does it suit any instrument?

Yes! The tasks cards are suitable for any instrument.

What level?

It can be used at any level. All of the activities are based on the pieces and scales that students are currently working on, so anyone who likes board games and/or pirates will enjoy it!

What’s included in the game?

This is a PDF file which can be downloaded and printed. It includes an A3 sized game board, one set of challenge cards suitable for any instrument, plus instructions for assembling and playing.
